| | This window box bracket is the perfect thing if you want to have a window box but the window ledge is either too narrow for most window boxes or not there at all!
Simply screw this window box bracket to either side of the window and you have a secure window ledge on which to put your window boxes. Quite brilliant!
The bracket has the feel and look of classical wrought-iron but weighs less and costs less!

How to attach the bracket to the wall?
Measure the window and add a minimum of 7.5 cm on either side, as the side brackets need to be fixed beyond the window frame into the brick or stonework.
The depth of the base plate is 25 cm.
With the reveal of the window you will actually have approximately 7.5 cm extra space and can therefore accommodate pots with a diameter of up to 30 cm.
If you have outward opening windows, you can attach the window box bracket below the sill.
And don"t forget the garden or patio wall, as window box brackets can provide an attractive feature on a blank wall.
The Window box bracket will fit most sill sizes.
It does not matter if the window box bracket is wider than the sill or if the sill juts out beyond the windowbox or if it slopes downward.
As the window box bracket has a carrying capacity of 50 kgs in weight, it does not need to be supported by a sill.
If you want to change the colour, use a Hammerite paint.
The window box bracket is not a permanent fixture and therefore can be assembled and fixed on listed buildings in conservation areas without permission.
