The set consists of secure fit push-in type bulbs.
There are 2 chains, with each chain consisting of 10 bulbs connected in series. A loose or damaged bulb in any chain will break the circuit and that chain will not light.
The transformer must be plugged into a mains socket indoors even if the lights are outside.
